Snob, I suppose. The hand built pure 911...far as I'm concerned, 1973 was the final year. As a friend of mine who got out of Porsches said, If I'm going to buy a water cooled car, I want a car that was always water cooled.
Gerinomo...trust me on this one...if I'd wanted an '09 911, I'd have bought one. For several reasons, I decided not to. Or, I'd have kept the one I had. Just got tired of Porsche.
But I find it funny that "snob" was used...the initial 2 posts dripped snobbery...and let's face it, the 2.7's were not exactly considered a high point of 911 design.
