I do appreciate a nice muscle car but it does not move me like a 911 does.

Year for year the 928 was faster than anything made in America except for a few very limited production cars like the 87 Buick GNX turbo, the 89 Pontiac Trans Am Turbo, or the original ZR-1s.
Actually, year for year the 928 was as fast as almost anything made anywhere in the world.
If only they had made a turbo, it would be an absolute legend.
