I prefer FI, but you all knew that, anyway!

My biggest issue with using carbs on 914 street cars is pollution. Dual 40IDF's on a stock motor (stock cam, stock heads and displacement) do not offer a significant performance advantage (or perhaps a decrease) and pollute more during warmup, at idle, part load, full load, and during overrun. For cars with high lift and duration aftermarket cam, pollution levels (especially HC's) are very high, regardless of the fuel system used.
