The Hazard Switch -

To remove/repair/replace the hazard switch one must remove the long dash trim piece - that's the one that encloses the hazard switch/clock/cig. lighter and goes all the way over to the passenger vent. There are two small flat insert panels covering the two sets of two screws (Two screws ea. under ea. of the flat covers) - While you are doing this be reminded that these dash panels are 20 years old and much more brittle than new, they are easy to break. If the end with the flange with the two screw mount is broken off a new panel from Pelican is $40.00 - Once you have removed the four screws the vent end is snapped into place behind the extreme dash end. Remove panel by unplugging wires and then pull the inner side out first and the far end will be easier to remove.

Once you have this dash trim panel off the hazard switch unplugs from behind - locked in place with plastic retainer mounts - be careful here also as the plastic is brittle from age.
