seats are easy to fix - buy a new cover kit and have a professional install it. same thing for the carpet, but you can do that yourself. domestic kits run $400 or less, german are much more expensive. aside from the door panels it is super easy to recover your interior other than the dash (if needed). the only reason the doors are harder is because of the stitching pattern. the rear parcel shelf has it as well but i prefer the smooth clean look and did not put them back in (i did pad under though).
