I replaced the front lenses (all 4) with clear ones on my black/black '87, and I'm not all that happy with the changed look of the car.

It is almost "too plain" in that it needs the orange colored lenses to break up the overall black/black/silver color scheme. And the orange lenses kind of tie into the gold & red of the Porsche crest and with the beige background of my license plate.

I haven't yet returned to the orange lenses, because I'm still trying to decide.

IMHO, the clear lenses look better on '90 & later style front bumpers.
