Well, rumor is that if you switch on/off (don't start the engine) the bike 3 times the BMS-K can calibrate these idiotic "valves" (you can listen to that step motor noise that occurs in 1st and 2nd time but not in 3rd).

But in my case the malfunction is due to badly machined throttle bodies that cause eccentric fatigue to these #$^%@$ idle pistons. Exactly the same case as in Dave Bowen bike.

Chances for BMW to cover this under an expired warranty? Less than 0.00034%.

Chances for me to buy another boxer? Less than 0.00056%.
