Carerra Fuel Lines...Again!

I just bought a 1988 three owner southern 911 cabriolet with 130,000 miles. The service records go back 12 years. I knew there were problems with the OEM engine fuel lines early on....but assumed that when the OEM problem was discovered the replacements were fixed (properly manufactured going forward)..... After sorting through the service receipts I noted that the 93011059505 lines were replaced in 11/02....2/06....and most recently in 10/09 and all of this work was done by the same shop. Replacing these lines three times in eight years does not seem right to me. Any ideas?????
