IIRC the Paso had FI, compared to the carb'd SS bikes everyone else is recommending. Not saying that's necessarily better. It was one of Ducati's first forays into FI for street bikes. And it's increasingly hard to find replacement ECUs. But there is a technological difference between the models. And, like Gogar said, you have to like the plastic everywhere look.

Personally, I'd go for a mid-90s 900SS.
