Let me get this straight. You took an early light housing with the non-fluted external lens. Then you took a standard H4 insert and removed the fluted lens leaving only the reflector and bulb holder. Then you mounted the new projector and HID bulb in place. This would allow for use of the adjustment screws and provide a good beam pattern.

Is this one of the generic HID projector kits?
Is this an H4 HID "upgrade" bulb setup inside the projector lens?
