If the leather isn't warped around the A/C vent and and W/S vent holes then it's not warped leather because it would shrink away from there first. Also it's not the plastic snaps since the front of the dash is anchored by 6mm studs at both ends of the dash.

I'm wondering if the dash front were rotated and it could be re-installed so the ends would be aligned. I would talk to Tony Garcia at AutoBahn Interiors, San Diego, I'm sure he could tell you where to start.

I agree having to look at that would make me crazy, if it were black it would be so noticeable. Plus Cork interiors are my favorite anyway.
