87 911 3.2 idle issues
Gentlemen,
My 87 911 has one of those troubling as in make you crazy issues where the car starts right up, no black smoke as in rich, not lean either until it gets warmed up then I sometimes get erratic idle , rolling idle , stalls. The valve located on the rear of the engine has electric plug going into it and air hoses going into the intake tract, I have cleaned this before re-installed and the car ran perfect for a good while. There was no sign of varnish or carbon that I could see and the air connections are not leaking, do these commonly go bad at 90,000 miles?? Should I be looking at something else?? Thanks in advance.
