the bearings can be a pain to get I had to call FAG on one bearing and they wouldn't sell me one. World Pac in fairfield oh usually can get some of the stuff. The bearings aren't too bad to do, when you start replacing gears etc is when it gets tricky. I work at our family auto repair business since leaving my engineering job at visteon. I live in Connersville IN. I have come up with a few tools I've fabbed to help do these trans, I haven't done one for about 2 years though. If you have a good understanding of bearing preload and how to adjust it accordingly as well as it's effects on backlash then they're not too bad to do.
