Got an 82 y.o. man in the Unit right now, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, pneumonia, MI, not doing well. Nice old Polish bloke.
Chatting to his wife, he was 13 when he went to the slave labour camp.....
Can't help but think of my own 13y.o., & her orphaned and heading off to a slave labour camp.
Focuses the mind, doesn't it?
