I think Monopan has some acoustic as well as thermal properties. It is translucent so the porch will still feel like a porch, and it is very light-weight. I'm picturing placing the full height panel on one side of the porch, maybe a small return "L" if wanting to turn the corner.

Also get a background White-Noise generator.

Consider doubling the panel with an airspace in between. May want to cap the ends to prevent spiders from making a home in there. I would still weep them however to prevent condensation.
