Why is there a difference between MFI and Carbs? I've read about this before, but in my mind there should be no difference in back pressure requirements between MFI and carbs. Perhaps the different cams in those two types of motors?
I bought the Bursch because it is FIFTEEN pounds lighter than my Dansk sport.

Since tuning an MFI is and can be a black art, I bet they made them so they were plug_and_play, so to speak in regards to stock motors. Pull old stock muffler off, install Bursch and drive away.
Now with all the info on the boards, one can pretty much tune an MFI car to run with any muffler/engine setup, THAT IS, if the car isn't a fraken motor. I have had so many damn mufflers (bursch triple as well) and the only muffler that really ran well was the stock muffler and the magnaflow muffler with glass packs (heavy and ugly as hell). The others ran but did not run very well, and yes I have a fraken motor. Now I run a dansk sport and it runs great, not to loud, not to quiet.
