dad911 was right, the outside threaded rod is screwed. it will not turn at all. the good news is that the driver's side is now working thanks to the jb weld but now i have to find an outside threaded rod for power seats and a new cable.
/sigh
anyone by chance know someone with an old pair of power seats that have seen better days to help in my parts hunt?
