Well I will not take $14/hour, but $40k/year is not asking much more... These employers do run the show now, but that doesnt mean they are not dreaming (or in some cases high) if they think what they are asking is going to actually benefit them. Either way, I will continue to swing wrenches untill the economy clears up. I have no issues with this concept- I have wined & dined people with millions of dollars and I have cut cars apart with a torch at a salvage yard, I have dug up sesspools, I have done construction, Ive worked on Porsches, etc... not much of anything I cannot do- so I am not worried. I will always make money no matter where I end up on God's green earth.
