For the life of me I couldn't get the valve to separate from the hosting. I have the "A" style. I had the end mounted in a vise and have put all my weight into heaving it directly out. If I wiggle it side to side some I could see the o-ring it just wouldnt come out.
I ended up heating up the housing a little with a propane torch and was able to pull it right out. Now the problem is the o-ring I got from Pelican appears to be too large. That would be the 999-707-146-40(Black O Ring)
It barely fits around the piston, and looks like its getting pinched when pushed bad into the housing. I lubed it up real well and got it aligned perfect on my press. When I went to push it back together the o ring was pinched and damaged.
