lol, i kinda agree, but the same goes for the Beatles and mostly everything else from that era not just Jimi... The distortion and effects they used in production of the 67-69 records for me result in , hmmm, that feels familiar.
Even without that, Jimi H and band touch on so many levels, rythm (that drummer was the shizzle) , guitar (not just the wild use feedback), the lyrics....
Few if any Blues artists can rock like Jimi, few if any Rock artists can play blues like him... He was up there with the best of both worlds...
