Maybe not the best idea. They will probably have a service and parts dept. People tell me not to hire a contractor to do home inspections. Same thing.

A good home inspector should know codes for spas/pools and know a decent installation from a crappy one. And, he should run the thing through its paces, look in the filter and check the heater. Provide a mask (if he doesn't already have one) and plaster condition can be seen by simply putting your face in the water.

Look at the plaster at night with the light on, you'll really see it.
