It is truly MIND-BOGGLING that a legitimate body shop owner would treat a customer that way after a $22,759.98 repair job!!!

I think you should go over the itemized statement with a lawyer, after examining the car for evidence that non-OEM, brand-new parts were used, if that is what rhe invoice indicates were used. I would be willing to wager that corners were cut and that parts were misrepresented, and that fraud was involved ...

If you find any significant discrepancies, I believe that you should contact your insurance company and the state attorney general's office. Make this guy's legal bill exceed your invoice and get the legal system after him if there are any discrepancies on that invoice, and with a jerk like that, I bet there are plenty!!! He doesn't have any respect for his customers, and I bet he has even less for laws! Make him sorry that he woke up that day ... legally!
