Old enough to pee, old enough for me, at least.
Seriously, I think the will let you know when she is ready. And, I assure you that she will - just take it easy at first and make sure that she is comfortable. And, make sure she has the right equipment to ride in - and, that she is comfortable in the outfit. She will love to show it off to her friends, too.
BTW - I am sort of wife shopping these days!
