Wow, Toyota gas and brakes...that's a lawsuit waiting to happen. Where I used to work, my old boss made all the top managers buy the book "The Toyota Way". Then he put in what he said was lean manufacturing, Kanban, etc. It was a joke...he actually made people do book study time and report back on chapters in the book. When he found out I drove an Audi (Oddie as he called it), he told me he had owned on and they were junk. When I asked what he drove he told me a Lexus ES. To this I responded "oh, that's the one built on the Camry chassis". He fed me some line of BS about how the car had more spot welds than the Camry and that you could just tell how much higher the quality was in the Lexus than in American made cars.
The same moron tried to tell the president of the company that the 928 was a "slow" Porsche. I made him look like a fool for making that comment.
The best part came when I nearly made him **** his pants in the right seat of my twin turbo.
Still, when I think back the only words that come to mind are "what a prick".
