I'm planning to build a '73 RSR clone based on my '75 911, which has welded Turbo front fenders (they are in good shape). I see three solutions to get RSR front fenders:
1: I can try to find some early front fenders and cut off the part under the headlight and weld this part on my g-model front "Turbo" fenders (a lot of welding to do this right, I guess)
2: Buy two new early front fenders and Turbo flares from Dansk and sell my "Turbo" front fenders
3: Buy a couple of RSR fiberglass front fenders from Getty, Rennspeed or another supplier and sell my "Turbo" front fenders
What do you think would be the best solution (quality, price etc.)? Perhaps, I should mention, that I can't do any welding myself
