The Solstice convertible has 4 cubic feet of trunk space. And that's with the top up. And the top of the gas tank protrudes into the trunk, so that 4 cubic feet is all around the perimeter of the trunk, being no more that 4 inches wide and 4 inches tall at any one point. To go anywhere, you'd have to pack directly into the trunk and forego luggage. Travelling anywhere with a clothes horse would be impossible.

And that 4 cubic feet become 1 cubic foot with the top down. It's not a practical car.

Now the Solstice Coupe had way more trunk space, but they only made 2,000 of them before Pontiac got shut down.
