this is the brush i am looking for:
from tool wizards. uses a cheap steel scrubber wad thing, that i can get at the chinese grocery store for pennies. (this is the go-to scrubber for wok cooks)..i might try to simply grab a pad with a pair of tongs.
if i didnt get the sale price, i would have stayed with my old setup:
