One of my wish list items for my new (86) 911 has been the smaller lighter European bumperettes, and some European turn signal lenses. I think the euro versions of these components will look better on my grey car, and stick with my idea for this car of of stock but 'simplified'
Anyhow currently I find myself in the UK for work, and with some time on my hands between projects I decided to try and source some stuff for the car. To wit I put and Ad up on a very cool UK site Impactbumpers.com and found a good bloke with a pair from an 89 Carrera for sale at a great price. i went to Surrey just outside London to go pick them up, had a cup of tea and chatted Porsche's. My extravagant gift to myself for working over the Thanksgiving holiday was the 3.2 badge for my rear grille, purchased from our host. Now I need to source a rear deck lid with no wing mount holes or Carrera badging which it turns out strangely enough might be available here in the UK too.
