Big area. lots of people, lots of homes, lots of cities.

Sure we have problems with flooding, hill slides, fires, etc but they are limited to a very small percentage of the area. It just seems like it all happens to everyone because of the news.
they try to make it look like all of So Cal was underwater when the vast majority of us just got a little damp and annoyed.

Basically it goes like this: People who bought houses sitting on the top of a hill or in the bottom of a canyon have to pay for their poor judgement.
The rest of us just go about our business.
