I an sure you would be OK. I added a Mocal oil cooler in my left front fender well and a set of the Elephant finned oil lines with air scoops on both sides. I also enlarged the hole on the underside of the bumper. On a 105 degree day with the air on my oil temp is 190 degrees. If I get caught in traffic it will go up to about 230 but never higher and once I get moving it will cool down to 190 to 200.

Although these are not racing conditions I still think it would be ok.
