Please, please don't go the cheap haircut. Definitely find a great female hairdresser who knows how to cut well and pay up.
Lose the beard - or trim it well. Spend some quality time on your grooming; it will make you feel great and you'll be happy that you did

Definitely ensure your suit is a great fit and make sure your shirt/tie etc are flawless.
Attention to detail makes all the difference... GOOD LUCK too
