Point is , that that stuff obv gets pumped through the motor, and it can clog up your cam bars, wedge into passages, and if it gets sent into a bearing, it will jsut embedd itself in the babbit and make a new home. It can get ugly, and theres only one way to get it all out.

It sounds like exactly the same problem. How did your story end? You took the entire motor apart down to the crank bearings? That is a full rebuild?
