I run mine disconnected. You only need it connected if you have a rising rate FPR. Generally, tuning EFI can be difficult if your boost is changing your fuel pressure. Of course, that is better than running out of fuel on boost.
I'm running the Bosch style found on 944T and similar cars that have the reference line to them.
