Exhaust Stud
I had several bad exhaust studs removed when my heads were recently re-furbished. Studs are 8x1.25x45mm OAL. Where does anyone get replacements at a decent price? My current ideas are: Buy 1000 mm of grade 8 threaded rod from McMaster, cut my own (kinda wacky idea), only costs $10 plus shipping.
Buy some 8x1.25 bolts fully threaded and just cut the heads off, size the length on the grinder. Better ideas, missing anything to consider ?
