I just bought a '94 993 which has done 98000 km (~60000 miles) and have discovered a fault whereby the engine dies after driving for a couple of minutes (as if no fuel were being fed to the engine).

After attempting to restart for a couple of minutes (several retries where the engine does not fire at all), it does eventually start again. It doesn't seem to be a problem after the engine has warmed up and it only happens ONCE on any one journey.

Any suggestions ? I'm having it looked at in
a week or two.
