I don't think it was an aditional evaporator
they were selling. It was a condensor and fan which fit inside the rear fender. The condensor works as a heat exchanger. The more heat you pull away the cooler the air will feel. I installed a larger condensor which mounted under the car. It was about the width of the car and was located about under the front seats. Did a good job on my
SC. Purchased it from Performance Aire in LA.
About $300 I think.
