The DME gets feedback from the injectors through the electrical signals from the coils in the injectors. So, a code indicating an injector problem is probably an electrical problem. If an injector is not functioning properly, and then causes the car to run lean or rich, then yes, that might show up as an O2 sensor error. In this case, the sensor would be reading an out of spec condition, which might be a problem with the sensor itself, or a problem with the mixture (directly related to the injectors). You can try swapping injectors around to see if the problem follows the injectors too.
