I had planned to install this on my 87 930, but never got around to it. I just sold my 930 to allow room for my 997 GT3. This morning, I sifted through my "inventory" and found all the installation parts that I had purchased and are needed for the 1984 - 1989 930's. The parts include:
- 930 123 191 05 (two gaskets for the muffler connection)
- 930 111 154 06 (euro specific bracket required to install the muffler)
- 930 111.155 00 (euro specific muffler strap)
- 900 075 085 02 (two bolts needed to attach the bracket above)
These new parts, if you can find them, total to over $100 by themselves. I'll throw them in for the asking price of $400 plus shipping.
It could not be easier: euro muffler + all installation parts. Note that the retail for the muffler is $1618 from our host (special order). Finally, note that the date on the muffler is 1/89. Hard to find a newer version. Again, you can get rid of the cat (for offroad use only, of course), eliminating all that heat under the bumper, reduce back pressure and improve the sound. What a deal.
