Some history on this car, it's my 2nd 83 844, the first i sold 6 years ago, this one I got with broken belts and bent valves. I got it running a month ago and this problem was there then probably from last owner I have no way to know for sure. The car came with a good used head so I used it, and the motor runs perfect but takes some cranking to start unless I pre pressureize the fuel system or a little starting fluid then it fires right away. I am sure its the lack of fuel on startup. The gas mileage I have not checked as far as per gallon but it is real good not a rich condition what so ever. Better than my 03 Hyundai Accent. I will check the fuel regulators as well, I do know that the fuel pump runs as soon as the key is turned on [I can hear it] The car goes like hell with no stumble or hesitation. Thanx again Alan
