Kyle,

In Bristol: The Great Britain. First screw driven passenger liner, resting in the dry-dock in which she was built. Engines, main deck and some cabins restored, the rest a work in progress. The Matthew, a replica of John Cabot's vessel should be just across the quay. (they sailed across the Atlantic in THAT!?)
+1 on the Roman baths in Bath

Wookie Hole: Near the more well known Cheddar Gorge, but the cave tour is good and ends in a linen/rag paper mill which still makes paper by hand.

Wells: Smallest city (it has a cathedral, so is technically a city)

Glastonbury Tor. The land to the south is mostly flat. Amazing views.

Avebury Circle: North of Stonehenge. The stones are smaller, but you can touch them. The museum on site is well done.

Yeovil: A bit south of Glastonbury area, but it has the Fleet Air Arm Museum and the Haynes Museum. If you were a fan of Rob Walker, they have his DeLahaye.

We spent a week there in 2003. Loved it.
