So you moved the rear 8x15s to the front and bought 9x15? Wish I had a chance to see it up close. That is a fitment i'd never believe would work on a Carrera body. Not to doubt you but I still don't.

The usual fitment in those days was 7 & 8 x15 w/ 205/50 & 225/50 tires, at least that's what my '76 C3 came w/. I did use the same 7 & 8 wheels on my '72 RS clone but w/ 215/60 & 235/55 tires, and the 215s were hard to fit that was my first experience shaving lips.

to anyone else out there, please post pics of 911 8ET10.6 on the front of a Carrera body if you have them and also any of you that have 911 8s w/ spacers on a Carrera body. 930s please do not post we know they will work for you.
Actually, 75 Carrera's came with 185/70 and 215/60 when new. Dunlops on mine but Pirrelli's on others.
I need to dig up old slides of the car with them.
