Quite an achievement for her. She went back to school part time 8 years ago. Managed to pull it all off with a 3.86, all the while working full time, raising a child, taking care of her ill father for 3 years, and putting up with me.
Her boss paid for all of her education, and allowed her the flexibility to leave work to take some classes that were only offered during the day. He came to the ceremonies today as well. He is a good guy.
I gotta say, I was all swelled up with pride for her, but my arse hurts after sitting through a 5 hour ceremony on a wooden bench.
This is one task that I could never complete. I did a couple of semesters and quickly realized that I was done with school and ready to go to work.
