It might also be your oil pressure sending unit. They're very delicate and most people end up over tightening them especially when putting the wire contacts back on.
Just yesterday I restarted my car after spending almost two months rebuilding the top end and it was leaking oil like crazy. Luckily I had a spare one that I put in and now it's fine.
