A bit over a year ago I did the same for an older 50" rear projection. The TV turned on but the picture was scattered with 1/2 screen dark. I listed it in the free section and it was gone before dinner time. Super nice guy came by with a truck and even though it was free he left me a $25 Starbucks card as a thanks. Nothing but good experiences with Craigs list.
