Hello all. I have a '79 924 na with a serious problem. My uncle and I are trying to get this car ready for when I am able to drive (I'm 14 now).
The problem we have now is fuel is pouring out the exhaust when we try to keep it at idle. In the past 3mos. we have replaced the plugs, cap, rotor, coil and wires.
The car has never run well, but now this. It's as if there is too much fuel being dumped into the cylinders.
A recent oil change showed us there was at least 2qts. of fuel in the oil, but now it is blowing out the exhaust.
We are really at our wits end and seriuosly thinking about dumping this car.
