resurrecting an old thread for a simple (?) question.
How does the plastic cap work on the sender wire?
There is a visable tab on the bottom, and what looks like 4 ears on the top, that are maybe acting as a strain relief?
Turning it clockwise and counter-clockwise does nothing for me.
I don't want to break it like I've trashed every one of the plastic sender disconnects on my Jettas.
BTW - my oil pressure is pegged at max as soon as the ignition goes on, so I'm assuming its the wire or the sender.
