Here is the setup:
1. Stock heat exchangers without the heater boxes: on advice that the 3.2L would run better with small diameter primary tubes and a free flowing muffler.
2. Stock cat that has been gutted.
3. 2.5" steel tubing from cat to Flowmaster 42583 from Sumitt racing.

4. 2.5" steel tubing to two stainless steel oval tips. Sorry I can't remember where I got the tips, but I got them about 2 years ago when I first contemplated using a Flowmaster. I think I got them on E-Bay.
5. Modified stock muffler bracket, turned upside down with two additional supports welded onto it.
The hardest part of the project was fabricating the cat to muffler pipe since it is a compund angle piece. The two outlets are just straight pipes to 90 degree elbows with the tips welded on.
I say that this muffler is a bit louder than the stock. But then again I havn't had the stock one on for a while, because I had a B&B single in Dual out on the car. I couldn't stand the resonance on the interior with the B&B. The Flaumeister is probably on the same level of loudness as the B&B on the exterior. On the interior, the Flaumeister has a very small amout of resonance to about 2500 rpm then it dissappears. Highway cruising is very nice. The engine sound is definitely there but is not overpowering. You just can't beat the performance for the price. I paid $600 for the B&B and about $150 total for the Flaumeister. Granted that my setup now is not Stainless, but I don't drive in the rain anyway and can buy 4 setups for the same price. By then I'll probably have a 993 or early 911 (just can see myself in a water cooled 911).
