Most important thing is that you get you fuel level correctly adjusted as excess (unburnt) fuel in the bore causes rapid wear as it washes the oil away from the surfaces. It's worth getting oil health analysis done every year or so as it can tell you what is wearing from the traces found, whether there is excess fuel, if the oil is the correct type and also whether or not the engine is ingesting dust which is a real engine killer.
