+1 on the Seine Systems gate shifter. I'm not even using the gate part - just the spring system that centers the shifter on 3-4. One thing I had to do though - I had to add a 1/4" plastic spacer to the bolt for the Seine spring. The short shift kit moved everything up so high it wasn't possible to tighten the nut on the spring bolt all the way without a spacer.
Besides the factory short shift kit, I also added the wevo coupler. Also re-did the center bushing in the linkage.
All of that work - and changed the fluid (Royal Purple transmission fluid), and it is perfect. Well - as perfect as a 915 can be.
