So my buddy is on the prowl for a GT3. He has been looking for the right car for about 6 months now.
He calls me and says he found one, but it is out of state, Nebraska, and it is one of those buy through pay pal deals, car ships to him, he gets go look it over for 5 days, blah , blah,. The car is also about 10k under value. He asks me what I think, and I tell him that from reading the forums here, and dealing with one of these on my own, that this deal has all of the properties of the typical scam.
He asks me what to do, he says the seller has been real responsive, with e mails, and answered all of his questions, sent additional pictures etc..
My advice was to tell the seller, that you would want to fly/drive out to look the car over, and do the deal person to person with a cashiers check. 48 hours now, and emails have stopped.
